Bin Hu was an apprentice in Beijing’s famous photographic studio dean Zhong Yi Fu. Upon completion of his professional training, Bin worked as an independent photographic contractor for two years photographing architecture, commodities and fitness centers, among others. He provided the photographic support for websites for a number of fitness centers and specialized in bodybuilding competitions.

Bin immigrated to the U.S. after marrying Charlotte Ann Crouch of Arizona and is now a student at Cochise Community College where he is studying English.

Since arriving in Arizona in the summer of 2009, he has become enchanted with Arizona’s landscape, wildlife and rodeos. This has opened new avenues in macro-photography of flowers, insects and birds. Action photography is also a favorite in roping, barrel racing and other rodeo events. He is sometimes frustrated in attempting to capture the grandeur of Arizona’s skies or the overwhelming immensity of a desert storm. Reduced to two dimensions, they seem flat. Bin has become fascinated with lightning photography and natural light photography in the evening and at night. For Bin, photography is a true passion.
